What are Corporate Roundtable Partnerships?
SME Foundation Corporate Roundtable Partnerships (CRP) provides companies in the mining and minerals industry with a strategic opportunity to invest in mining education, workforce development, and industry outreach.
Established in 2013, Corporate Roundtable Partnerships brings together forward‑looking organizations committed to strengthening world‑class mining and mineral education and encouraging the next generation to pursue mining‑related careers.
Corporate Roundtable Partnerships are an annual investment program for corporations and businesses engaged in the mining and minerals industry.
Through financial support and industry engagement, partners help advance SME Foundation programs that address workforce needs, educational access, and industry sustainability.
Participation in the CRP reflects a shared commitment to investing in the people who drive innovation and excellence across the mining and minerals sector. Currently, 19 companies support the SME Foundation at the Corporate Roundtable Partnerships level or higher.
Companies are invited to Corporate Roundtable Partnerships with an annual commitment of $25,000 or more. Partners may select their level of participation and designate their contribution to support specific SME Foundation programs aligned with their organizational priorities.

Corporate Roundtable Partners receive many benefits that include:
Recognition and acknowledgement in SME Foundation materials and at SME Foundation events
Acknowledgement in the SME Drift and Mining Engineering magazine
Complimentary seating at the SME Foundation Gala Dinner (minimum $50,000 Corporate Roundtable Partner level and above)
Access to the SMEF VIP Lounge at the SME Annual Conference & Expo to meet with and interview students and recent graduates for internships and full time employment
Invitation to the Corporate Roundtable Partner Luncheon between SME leadership and corporate partners

The program has four giving levels: $200,000, $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000. Each Partner selects which level they want to participate at on an annual basis and which SME Foundation program(s) they want their donation to support.
